Board paintings depicting the appearance of gods have been dedicated to shrines since ancient times.

Sumo wrestling has been popular in Japan since ancient times as a Shinto ritual, and it is filled with wishes for the health and development of the people.

This board painting was also created with the hope that everyone will be prosperous for a long time, be inspired like a sumo wrestler, and spend every day in good spirits.
