Osamu Nakajima

I sketch land, towns, people, school life, vaudeville performances, street life, and other familiar things, and create bird's-eye views, genre paintings, and what I feel and see in my body. Yokohama Nigiwai-za is an important theme as a place where I spent time with junior high school and high school students and a familiar place for vaudeville performances. Children, performers, staff, audience, facilities, it's interesting to leave it.

BIOGRAPHY

1960 Born in Yokohama City, Kanagawa Prefecture. After living in Mie Prefecture and Miyazaki Prefecture, entered Musashino Art School.
1985 Main exhibition exhibition (every year thereafter)
1986 Completed Musashino Art University Graduate School of Art and Design (oil painting course)
1987 Ueno Forest Painting Award Exhibition ('91, '93)
1990 Became a member of Shutaiten Honorable Mention
1992 Yasui Award Exhibition (1994), Rakugo illustrated folding screen production (Ise Akafuku collection)
1993 Solo exhibition (Kinokuniya Gallery, 1998), Japan-Korea Western-style painter exchange exhibition (Yokohama Citizens Gallery, etc. 1994, 1995)
1995 Scarab Exhibition (Akane Gallery)
1996 Solo exhibition (Akane Gallery, 2000), Participated in the Shape of Time Exhibition (Yokohama Citizen's Gallery, Red Brick Warehouse every year thereafter)
