Sono Sanjushichi "Shamisen and Dance"
"Shamisen comic story" Umekichi Hiyama. A tatami room performance where you can enjoy the sounds of classical rakugo. With the sound of the shamisen, various sounds create an atmosphere that softens the hall.
In the second half of the koza, the movements of the fan and furisode are shown in the flow, and the dance concludes. The luxury of the vaudeville koza.
Sono Sanjuhachi "Launch"
After each meeting, the performers, staff, and other familiar people will meet at a nearby shop to get to know each other, reflect on each other, and talk about the four sides of the mountain. The town of Noge has a variety of taverns and restaurants, old and new.
As for the sketches, at the launch of "Tenka Taihei", the first director Tamaki joined for a while, telling young performers and stories of ancient and modern entertainment. At "Ichinokura".
The 39th "Conversation"
At the beginning and middle of a rakugo show, at Ogiri, the performers and invited guests put cushions and simple chairs on the dais, and the time is mixed for conversation.
On this day, at the Utamaru Enraku two-person party, the two performers announced their name succession and talked about various things in the rakugo world, softening the audience. There was a preview of each performance, etc., and after that, the classic rakugo performance continued.
The 40th Manzai Manzai
It's not easy to see Koza comedies like Kawachi manzai with drum beats and dance, but there are performers who can convey manzai with shamisen and guitars. Musical instruments and koza are inseparable.
I feel that "Tokyo Girls" has a sound that warms the entertainment hall. Just as you can enjoy the well-known punch lines of classic rakugo over and over again, it's a lot of fun to mix fixed puns with the shamisen ensemble.
Part 41 "Classical Rakugo"
Props such as folding fans and tenugui towels are also useful to bring out the individuality of the performers when rakugo is performed. Before the start of the performance, the Nigiwai-za staff shouted out onto the streets of Noge.
