Daisuke Kagawa

Born 1981 in Fukuoka, Japan, painter. Having worked as a skateboard designer in Paris, France, and having traveled across Japan on foot for two years, he continues to work energetically in various locations both in Japan and abroad. He currently resides in Nikko City, Tochigi Prefecture, and has established the "Daisuke Kagawa Art Museum/Yoshimiya", a studio and gallery in a renovated old house.
He lives a life centered on "creation" itself, without being bound by form.

Main exhibition

2009 Participated in Kyoto / Higashi Honganji Special Exhibition "Kanno - Artists Who Encountered Shinshu Buddhism".
2011 Nagano/Omachi City Participates in the "Shinano no Kuni Primitive Sense Art Festival" every year. (In 2015, at the same art festival, "22 Goddesses of the Storehouse", which was produced over four years, will be completed and released.)
Tochigi/Nikko "Daisuke Kagawa Life Painting Exhibition" (Kosugi Hoan Memorial Museum of Art)
2015 Participated in Wall Art Festival (WAF) in Kagaria, Bihar, India.
